She continued to thank the organizers for the job offer adding that through her, upcoming young women shall receive motivation. This is the first time the singer is hosting the awards although she has won it fifteen times in the past. Her recent win at the Annual Grammy awards was in 2014 where she won the best R&B Album for her hit Girl on Fire.

The award which recognizes achievements in the music industry is presented by the Grammy’s recording academy. If you can remember, Keys sponsored a Kenyan teenage girl by the name Gracious Amani from Githurai for replicating her voice in her cover of Girl on Fire. Actually it was pretty inspiring seeing such a highly held musician recognizing her fans and cover artists.
