More details on Adekunle Gold & Simi Secret wedding In Lagos

Simi and Adekune Gold are now the talks of the hour with unconfirmed reports citing that the two wedded last week in a secret event. Whereas details of the wedding’s location remain anonymous some people are saying that it could have taken place in Lagos, whereas others cite that Simi’s wedding took place in Dubai. No official statement has been issued by any of the two singers till now and probably what paparazzi caught on camera was an engagement party.

Gold and Ms. Simisola Ogunleye have been dating since last year (2017) and this is not the first time they have taken the internet unawares with their presumed wedding. At around the same time last year, the two singers were spotted practicing their wedding steps. We were all hopeful that the two songbirds would wed anytime before the end of 2017, something that did not end up taking place. Regardless of the fact whether Simi actually married Adekunle Gold for sure this time or not, the duo seems like a perfect match for each other.

Last week, Simisola shared a photo on her Instagram handle where she was kissing the Damn Delilah hitmaker deeply. Publicity stunts like this are not an uncommon thing in Nigeria’s dare I say Africa’s entertainment scene. What Adekunle Gold and his lover have now is somewhat similar to what Davido and Girlfriend Chioma have been doing all year round.

We’ve seen worse versions of love stories turned sour, like what Kenyans witnessed after the breakup between Otile Brown and Vera Sidika a couple of months ago. Actually, before dating Mr. Kosoko, Simi and Falz were believed to be dating, though this wedding kind of clears out the air for everyone.  We are still following up on this story and how we wish that the speculations are true. Best wishes for the couple obviously!
