Yedin is perhaps Kweku Smoke’s best collabo, featuring Sarkodie. What do we love? Pretty girls and a room full of money, but what do we love more? Good music. Sarkodie is finally here kicking up dust in the music world, obviously on point dropping bars like a sledgehammer on an anvil, and he’s not alone.
Featuring in the new super hot track called Yedin is Kweku Smoke. Kweku is a young African rapper and this is among his best works in the prime of his career. I guess he is the star from behind the moon and boy he does shine.
This song was produced by Atown TSB, to whom backing out from true African creativity is not an option. The term Yedin means “keep quiet” in the native language.
Kweku Smoke, signed unto Nana Boro’s Bolinganation label Glows with swag, rocking classic suits and a glorious turtle neck, not shy to show off his gold slugs. There aren’t any cost-cutting in the music business you have to go all in. This collaboration speaks volumes in that department.
Yedin is a masterful, lyrical track record that saying “it’s OK” would be an understatement of the year. Of course, we all love some bit of trap vibes in Afrotunes. Who doesn’t? And “it makes sense”. This song is a true Ghana craft and a product of team effort.
